Student Perspectives on Digital Storytelling
I came across a really cute video on youtube about digital storytelling. In the video second and third grade students are talking about how they created stories and then turned them into digital stories. The students all seemed really excited about the work they created and talked with passion about the process. I can't wait to start using digital stories more with my own students!

Great youtube! I was having a hard time picturing how the class would be creating a digital story. Would it be individual, small group, whole class? I guess any way, really. This really helped me to see the process in action! How will you use it with the prekinders?
ReplyDeleteI was thinking I could have my students all draw pictures about certain topics and they could tell me their words and I would write them down. Then using their pictures and words I would create a book. I would take pictures of their work and I would probably say their words for them to go along with their pictures.
